About the Event
Put your speed, turning ability and stamina to the test in these two races. You can choose to enter one race of your choice, or both. We encourage you to compete in both for the full race experience. The technical course race will run first, and the distance race (a.k.a Tour de Ghost) will run as the last race of the day. To be qualified for the "Queen" title you have to complete both races.
1000m technical race
This short course will consist of heats of 8 women competing neck to neck, making three turns around buoys and sprinting to the finish line.
5000m distance race
This 5km distance race, Tour de Ghost, will put your stamina and endurance to the test. One turn to complete the course.
** All competitors must wear a life jacket and a leash. One entry fee will guarantee you a spot in both races and a yoga session on the beach after the race.
Times:
Technical Race: 9 - 11am
Distance Race: 1 - 2pm

Early bird - $75 (ends July 15th)

NOTE: QOTV2024 is tentative while we await special event permit approval from Alberta Parks.
