giving opportunity

QOTV is not just a race. It is an event that empowers women and girls to go beyond their limits and realize their strength, resiliency and potential. We wanted for the strong women of our amazing SUP community to have a farther ripple effect, so we are giving an opportunity to girls who might not have the means or access to this water sport. We are able to open up 10 spots for the mini Queens category, and Bow Valley Stand Up Paddleboarding and Surf Inc. will provide them with equipment for the day.

Fast and Female is a Canadian charity and their mission is to empower girls through sport and physical activity, because it sets them up to succeed and lead in life. Aside from the obvious benefits of physical health and wellness, sports help young women develop the confidence, leadership and teamwork skills that are essential for success in later life.
